Lemon and ginger tea is perfect for soothing a sore throat or relieving an upset stomach caused by too much food or alcohol at Christmas.  This recipe will serve four people.

  • Two stalks of lemongrass
  • Four lemon slices
  • Two inches (five centimeters) of peeled ginger
  • Four teaspoons of honey
  • Boiling water

Instructions

Cut each stalk of lemongrass in half crosswise, and again lengthwise, so that there are eight pieces.  Place two pieces in each of four cups.

Slice the ginger, making thin slices, and divide the ginger among the cups.

Place a lemon slice in each cup, then add honey to each cup as well.

Top up with boiling water.
