The star anise that is used as a garnish in the red star martini creates a wonderful festive look for Christmas.
Instructions Infuse the bottle of dry vermouth with one star anise for two days. Fill a mixing glass with ice. Pour the vodka and 15 ml of the infused dry vermouth into the mixing glass. Stir until the glass appears frosty. Strain and pour into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with the second star anise, and then serve. |
