Mulled wine is wine that has spices added to it. It may also include citrus, such as orange or lemon. It is served warm, but is not boiled, because boiling would cause the alcohol to evaporate. To create your mulled wine you usually heat the wine in a large pan on the stove, or a special heater, and stir in the spices and other incredients in accordance with the mulled wine recipe.
Mulled wine is usually made with red wine, although it can be made with white wine. An alcohol-free form of mulled wine can be made by using fruit juice instead of wine.
