Orange and anise can be used to enhance the flavor of your mulled wine.
Instructions Peel the orange and cut the peel into strips. Squeeze the juice form the orange and pour the wine, the orange juice and the brown sugar into a crockery cooker. You do not need to keep the orange seeds and the pulp. Tie the orange peel, the cinnamon stick the anise and the whole cloves in a cheesecloth and place it in the crockery cooker with the wine and other ingredients. Cook on low heat for six hours, and then serve. You may discard the spice bag |
